As part of our 90th year in business, we are proud to be bringing the community together for Varty’s Family Fun Day in support of EPiC Hope CIC and Rose Bridge Sports and Community Club.
For us, this event is about giving something back to the community that has supported Varty’s for generations.
It is also a chance to raise money for two important local causes while creating a brilliant day out for families.
A day for the whole community
The Family Fun Day has been organised in partnership with Ince Rose Bridge Sports and Community Club and will offer something for all ages.
There will be artisan stalls, pocket money stalls, games, rugby, food, refreshments and plenty of opportunities for local people to come together and enjoy the day.
Entry will be by donation at the gate.
Supporting two important local causes
As part of our 90th year, we wanted to make sure our celebrations included something meaningful for the community.
EPiC Hope CIC does vital work across Wigan in suicide prevention; crisis support and raising awareness around mental health.
Rose Bridge Sports and Community Club continues to play an important role in bringing people together through sport, teamwork and community spirit.
By supporting both organisations through this event, we hope to make a positive difference while also creating something local people will want to be part of.

This event forms part of our wider 90th year campaign, which is focused on community, giving back and recognising the people and places that matter to us.
Reaching 90 years in business is a huge milestone for our family.
However, we know that milestones mean even more when they are shared.
That is why this year is about looking back and showing our appreciation by continuing to support the Wigan community in ways that matter.
